Artist's Comments
Inspired in the theme of the book wrote by the ends of the XV century by Sebastian Brant: a ship full of fools crosses the Narragonian – the kingdom of madness, in analogy with the Church and social crises of that period of Medium Age. Each fool represented a social class activity member or a vice, and the ship, in a leeway, cruised a sea of madness. Also by analogy, the trash basket is a symbol of those passengers, and the exagerated quantity of sails, exposed to all directions, represent the aimlessness and fall of values of nowadays world society.
